The real question is Why do we feel lost?

Is it because we are unable to take decisions at that particular moment? Or is it because we are comparing our lives with other people that makes us feel bad about ourselves.

I believe that it is more than that. We can feel lost because of countless reasons. Finding the reason behind it is not the right thing to do at that time. Doing something to overcome the feeling is what is necessary.

All of us will agree that its a negative feeling. On the other hand, all of us know that we can overcome a negative feeling only by feeling positive about ourselves.

  • Accept It The Way It Is

First of all, you need to accept that you are feeling lost. You cannot run away from it temporarily. Therefore, you need to find a permanent solution to solve this.

As soon as you accept that you are feeling lost, realize the fact that its not a permanent feeling. It will go away with the passage of time.

You might have it for a day, a week, even a month. But you cannot have this feeling for the rest of your life.  You feeling lonely right now does not define who you are otherwise. Don’t let it overcome you. Overcome the feeling. Accept it!

  • Rebuild Strong Relationships

One of the very common reasons people feel lonely is that they are bad at maintaining and enhancing relationships. Such people realize at a point in life that they have lost a lot in life. This is because they judge people too quickly or they want things to move forward their way every single time.

Life does not work that way. Its a give and take. Imagine if someone starts telling you what to do every single time, what would be your reaction?

An active listener is always respected everywhere. Therefore, maintain and enhance your relationships in a way that the other person feels privileged. In result, you will get such an enormous amount of love that the feeling of being lost will wither away by itself.

  • Start Focusing on the Positive Side

If you will keep on thinking about sadness and loneliness, you will never be able to overcome the feeling of being lost. Remember that you are only one step away from a totally different life. Your vibe attracts your tribe. If you stick on with the negative feelings, all you will attract will be negativity.

Look around you. All the lively people you know have one common trait. You can easily feel that these people never get bored even by themselves. They love themselves, their company and even talking to themselves.

Don’t stuff this in your heads that you will only enjoy someone else’s presence. Find out any positive activity that makes you happy and invest your time in it. Spend time with yourself every single day. You will get to know yourself better and will feel better.

  • Get Up And Do Something

Complaining about life is the easiest thing to do. The harder thing is to overcome the negative thoughts and vibes and do something positive for yourself.

Let it be getting up early in the morning to exercise. Or finding your field of interest and work on it with consistency and determination. If you are not comfortable with being uncomfortable about something that take you some extra miles, you are doing almost nothing in life.
