While growing up, Jeff worked summers at his grandparent’s farm. He used to repair windmills and vaccinate animals at the farm. Since childhood, Jeff was very curious about how things work.

Jeff set up his first office inside his house. The wires went down his garage to power up the only 3 computers he had. He was sharp enough to know that he can save his money by building the desks himself from old doors and wooden planks.
The garage was not insulated. Therefore, Jeff used a stove to warm his office up. In the same office, he got involved into developing software by working hard day and night.

Jeff sent his beta test site to 300 friends. After this, he officially launched amazon.com. He almost named his company relentless.com, however, he finally decided to go for amazon.com. Jeff still owns relentless.com that redirects the traffic to amazon.com. Today, Jeff’s net worth is almost $130 billion dollars and he is the richest man in the world today.
Jeff got to know in later years that Mike is not his paternal father, but Jeff never cared. He treated Mike like his own father.
