Failure is necessary to succeed and we all know one thing. None of us wants to fail. Because even if we ignore all the things we feel when we face failure, we cannot ignore the fact that failure feels bad.
Failure is often taken as inability to do something. This particular perception of failure stops us from trying again because we develop a self-belief that we cannot do it.
On 14th March 1879, the world didn’t know how the dimensions of science are going to change the course of the world in the years to come with the birth of a child.
He didn’t speak till he was 4 years old. His teachers said he would never amount too much.
But the child learned integral and differential calculus on his own before he was 15 years old. He was given the vibes of failure at a very early age, but you will be astonished to realize the fact that the E = mc2 Einstein, never gave up.
Today, Einstein owns a Nobel Prize in Physics
Some of us believe that we cannot defeat failure because the prerequisites for success are at times, not under our control. There are some “gifts”, as we say, that some people are blessed with and we are not. We look at people who exceed in our passion and we make them our biggest inspiration. They know this very well that failure is necessary to succeed.
But the question remains “Is having an inspiration enough to progress in life and attain success?” The answer is NO!
Its not about the feelings when it comes to progress. Its about DOING!
“Most great people have attained their greatest success just one step beyond their greatest failure.”
Demoted from Television because she wasn’t fit for TV, Oprah Winfrey could be just like you. Blaming it on the “gift” of being fit for TV, she could either live all her life giving this lame excuse to herself and never becoming who she is today. Or she could believe in herself, follow her passion, and become the Oprah Winfrey we know today and are inspired by today.
Nature has its own ways of bringing something beautiful in our lives or taking it away from us. However, with the passage of time, we realize that it happened for the best.
Life is not life without sorrow and life is not life without happiness. They both go hand in hand. There are people who think that night is the darkest just before dawn and then there are people who consistently ask, “Why me?”. The most beautiful thing about it is that its in our own hands how we think.
With hormonal disabilities, a child, whose passion was football, couldn’t grow like the kids of his age. He was asked to leave his team because of his abnormalities but he never asked, “Why me?”. Till a moment, he would have thought that he has failed to achieve his dreams but his courage, consistency and hard work proved otherwise.
Lionel Messi is considered as one of the best footballers in this world today.
Nothing works unless and until we decide to work. Nothing fails unless and until we accept failure.
We can give ourselves as many lame excuses as we want, reject all the positive thoughts, ignore every example of hope, determination, devotion, and dedication, but, we can never stop the world to have hope, to work hard, to be determined, devoted, and dedicated.
Failure is necessary to succeed. It is not the bad fruit. Failure is the bitter skin that contains the sweet fruit.
